I think that this is my favorite Onslaught map. This map is pretty well balanced in the locations of vehicles. Even if your team has lost all of its nodes, you still stand a good chance of recovery. The start of this map ALWAYS leads to people from each team racing for the Painter and the Redeemer. This is ok as long as you have people still building the nodes!

People may argue with me on this, however I feel that this is the most important tip on this map: NEVER, EVER loose control of the node linking to your base from the right. This node spawns a Goliath Tank and a Raptor, both of which are a real headache if the opposing team can spawn them close to your base (and Power Core!).

There are two rows of hills that split this map into 3 linear sections. If you have enough team members, place one or two players with ANViL’s at the top of the hill(s) (preferably one on each side). They can take care of those pesky Raptors. If you can put one player on each side, one will usually end up chasing the Raptors into the sights of the other. :)

Since this map is open, this is a good map to snipe with the Hellbender If you are by yourself, move a Hellbender through the gap in the hills in front of your base and park just to one side or the other (I prefer the left). Jump into the third spot and charge up the cannon. I was able to rack up 15 kills sniping in this fashion. If you are firing on infantry, you can charge up about half way. Just be prepared to move or fire some air mines as a defensive technique, because the opposing team will come after you if they have any presence of mind. If you stay above the slight rise, then any enemy Goliaths that move towards the center nodes will have a hard time hitting you. I have also sniped from the top of the hills ,but usually have to move fairly soon because you are a sitting duck up there.

If the opposing team has both the center nodes, try to grab the Painter. If you paint the center between the nodes, you can try to attack both with the air strike. At the very least you will cause people at both nodes to scramble.
